‘Raising the standards’ in care

A Western Australian not for profit aged are and retirement living provider has been announced as a national finalist in an awards ceremony which celebrates individuals and organisations achieving and promoting customer service excellence, innovation and best practice in the industry.

Bethanie has been announced as national finalists in the 2014 Customer Service Council Excellence Awards, Large Enterprise or Division of Business Category.

Presented by the Customer Service Council of Australia, the Customer Service Excellence Awards – ‘Raising the Standards’ – encourages individuals and organisations to achieve and promote customer service excellence, innovation, and best practice. 

‘Best Practice’ covers the key elements of customer satisfaction around response times, quality and depth of service including product, people and process, along with staff satisfaction, innovation, communication, technology, customer access, reporting and other key areas.

Teams are put under great rigor to demonstrate their delivery of customer service excellence, with written applications, panel interviews, mystery shopping and making a DVD all forming part of their application.

A new category, the Rising Star 30 under 30 Award, recognises young Australians that have achieved excellent outcomes for their customers, coupled with outstanding results in their careers well above their peers.

Chris Frame, Bethanie marketing and brand manager, received top honours, being announced as one of three nominees in the awards Rising Star 30 Under 30 Category.

“The customer service council of Australia is now in its 12th year and this it's most competitive year to date. I am so incredibly proud of Bethanie, the wonderful ICT team and Chris,” says Ben Oxford, chief of customer engagement at Bethanie.

Bethanie chief executive, Chris How, also congratulates the staff at Bethanie for their outstanding commitment and dedication.

“Being nominated as one of the finalists in a such as prestigious award, amongst such high company is a fantastic achievement for Bethanie as a whole. Exceptional customer service is a key objective of the Bethanie team, and it’s great to see the work of our staff recognised on a national level,” Mr How says. 

Winners of the 2014 Customer Service Excellence Awards will be announced at the 12thannual Customer Service Council of Australia Annual Awards Gala, which will take place at the Duxton Hotel in Perth next Friday (3 October 2014).
