Posted
by DPS

Over 50s from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast are being invited to a community consultation in their region to have their say on the biggest issues affecting them in the upcoming state election.

National Seniors Australia has begun preparing for its Over 50s vote in the Queensland 2009 campaign.

The consultations will be held to gauge the most important issues for Queenslanders over 50, now and in the future.

The first consultation will be held on Wednesday, 4 February from 9.30am to 11.30am at The Events Centre, 20 Minchinton St, Caloundra.

The second consultation will be held on Wednesday, 4 February from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at Carina Leagues Club, 1390 Creek Rd, Carina.

Places are limited, so please phone Amanda on 07 3233 9108 or send an email to over50svote@nationalseniors.com.au to reserve a place. Further consultations are planned in other Queensland locations.
