Public meetings on Qld law reform proposals affecting older people
The Queensland Law Reform Commission (QLRC) is an independent statutory body which makes recommendations on areas of law requiring reform.
QLRC is reviewing the guardianship legislation, which regulates the making of decisions by and on behalf of people with impaired capacity.
There will be public forums in the Gold Coast, Townsville, Cairns, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast, Rockhampton, Bundaberg and Brisbane.
