Provider receives IT award
West Australian provider, Baptistcare, has been awarded ‘Best Implementation of the year, over 650 Places/Clients’ for the organisation wide implementation of iCare, at the ITAC 2010 Aged Care Industry IT Awards.
The awards recognise organisations that have effectively used information communication technologies (ICT) to improve business outcomes in the aged care industry.
“This award could not have been achieved without a huge cross organisational effort; I would like to extend my congratulations to all those involved in the iCare role out at each of Baptistcare’s 14 sites,” said Ken Baker, director of Life Services at Baptistcare.
“Baptistcare is a firm supporter of the use of information and communication technology in aged care to continually improve resident and client outcomes and operational effectiveness,” Mr Baker said.
“I would also like to acknowledge iCare, in receiving this award; they have been extremely helpful and supportive throughout the entire process.”
iCare provides clinical, care and medication management solutions within aged care.
