Property acquisition - an important part of aged care growth

Ms Rowsthorne says this area of real estate is her “chosen niche” and says she is here to help with the shortage of aged care accommodation, which is expected to grow, according to the Australian Institute of Health & Welfare who predict that by 2036, the number of people aged 65 years and over is expected to more than double to 6.3 million.

“The real estate industry is also going through massive change with reforms that need to be adhered to,” she says.

“My network is selective and I only work to source sites and accept sites from reputable sources.

“My personal property history and my professional qualifications as a licensed buyer’s agent and real estate agent, enables me to facilitate all property transactions presented to me.

“That, teamed with my personal story of diversity, understanding of the aged care sector and customer service qualifies me to handle the challenges faced by private operators looking to move to the next stage.”

Ms Rowsthorne credits her ongoing success to her personal attributes and abilities, and how she works with clients to get them the results they want and need.
