Positively Ageless strategy announced for Qld

The Queensland Government has launched its ‘Positively Ageless’ Seniors Strategy.
The strategy, which has been developed in consultation with seniors and their representatives, aims to provide a long-term vision for Queensland seniors to 2020.
Key goals include:
- Valuing and empowering seniors;
- Improving health and wellbeing;
- Promoting workforce participation, independence and mobility;
- Supporting community participation and age friendly communities; and
- Providing information and improving communication.
