Older persons in public housing: present and future profile
The Australian Housing & Urban Research Institute (AHURI) has released a research report on ‘Older persons in public housing: present and future profile’.
This research project seeks to develop a profile of older public housing tenants, identify the housing policy and management issues associated with older tenants, identify the issues associated with linkages to support services for older persons.
It will also discuss the implications of these issues and new approaches to older people for the future of public housing and State and Territory Housing Authorities.
