Older people speak out
‘Older People Speak Out’ (OPSO), promotes positive ageing, and reaches wider society to prevent negative attitudes expressed in the media towards older people and the issues they face.
To help change these attitudes, OPSO instituted media awards to reward the media for positive content.
Nominations close on 15 September and all seniors are invited to nominate an example of positive media coverage.
