Older people needed for strength training project

A research project examining the effects on older people of participation in a community based strength training program is being undertaken by the National Ageing Research Institute and the Council on the Ageing, Victoria.
Participants need to be 50 or over, have not taken part in a strength training program, and intend to join a ‘Living Longer Living Stronger’ program.
Assessments take place prior to the start of the program and then at four and eight month intervals.
