Now it’s tomato plus broccoli to fight cancer
The latest recipe for men fighting prostate cancer is eating broccoli with tomatoes in a regular diet.
Researchers from the University of Illinois believe the different cancer fighting compounds already identified in both vegetables can work better together to attack cancer cells.
They suggest men should regularly consume servings of up to three quarters of a head of raw broccoli and two or three tomatoes to help fight prostate cancer three to five times a week.
The research has been published in the US Journal Cancer Research.
