No Meals on Wheels in Sydney on Friday 7 September

Because of APEC, the NSW government has declared Friday 7 September a public holiday in 25 local government areas around central Sydney.
As a consequence no Meals on Wheels workers will be working on that day.
The NSW Meals on Wheels Association cited the necessity of paying workers double time as the reason.
Extra meals will be provided on Thursday 6 September to cover Friday.
Hopefully all recipients will have been advised and will remember to stay home on Thursday for collection, as meals are no longer left on doorsteps, but must be hand delivered to someone at the nominated address.
