New Veterans home care contracts in Hunter Region of NSW

A new tender has ensured home care services to Veterans in the Hunter region of NSW will continue.
The tender is the first to be rolled out following a nation wide tender process for the Veterans Home Care (VHC) Program which currently contracts 300 organisations to provide services. The tender process has been conducted in accordance with Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines.
In the Hunter region there will be eight service providers and most of these are expected to be current service providers. However, the new arrangements may mean some changes to care workers delivering the VHC services.
