New Southern Cross Care facility in Adelaide
The SA Minister for Health John Hill has opened Stage 3 of Onkaparinga Lodge, a specialist aged care facility, at Huntfield Heights in southern Adelaide.
The new Stage, built by Southern Cross Care at a cost of $5.83 million, sets new standards in aged care, and includes the state’s only memory support unit for men.
Stage 3 incorporates 32 living units – 16 for male memory support residents, and 16 for low care residents including six couples – in keeping with Southern Cross Care’s active commitment to providing married couple accommodation.
