New Public Transport Concessions for Victorian Seniors

The Victorian Government has announced a number of changes to the way Victorian Seniors Card holders can use public transport. This includes greater access to Concession fares on V/Line train and coach services, the introduction of a Seniors Sunday Pass giving free travel on metropolitan trains, trams and buses and some regional city buses on Sundays. Victorian Seniors Card holders can apply for a Seniors Sunday Pass at any premium railway station, staffed V/Line station or The MetShop.
The Seniors Sunday Pass entitles a Victorian Seniors Card holder to free travel on metropolitan trains, trams and buses in Zones 1+2+3 on Sundays. It is also valid for free travel on the town bus networks of major regional cities, such as Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong on Sundays.
Victorian Seniors Card holders will also be able to access Concession fares on V/Line train and coach services at all times. This brings Victorian Seniors Card holders into line with other Concession holders in Victoria.
