New national museum website for UK child migrants

The Australian National Maritime Museum has developed a website enabling British child migrants to go online and reflect on their experiences, share memories and photos, and create an ongoing record of their personal stories.
From the 1860s to the 1960s more than 100,000 British children were sent to British colonies around the world including Australia.
The interactive website http://www.britainschildmigrants.com is one part of a larger program and exhibition on child migration which will eventually tour both Australia and Britain, where there is a link with National Museums Liverpool.
