New head of Retirement Villages Australia

Andrew Giles

Andrew Giles

Andrew Giles, the 37 year-old general manager and state director of MacroPlan, has been appointed chief executive officer of Retirement Villages Australia (RVA).

According to the RVA board, his great depth of experience in working with local, state and Federal Governments, often as his clients at MacroPlan, was attractive.

He has also worked on many research and development programmes with both major developers and not for profits.

Simon Owen, president of the RVA, identifies Andrew’s depth of research, planning and government expertise, combined with extremely high energy, enthusiasm and fresh ideas as being the key components that appealed with Andrew over other high calibre contenders for the position.

He joins the RVA over the next two weeks.
