New Brisbane aged care facility

Today, Salvation Army Aged Care Plus will officially open the Cairns Centre at Chapel Hill in Brisbane’s suburbs.
The Salvation Army’s international chief of staff from London, Commissioner Barry Swanson, will open the facility.
The centre is said to boast innovative design features, a new person-centre-care model of care being implemented by Aged Care Plus and the latest technology along side the implementation of best practice policies offering care of choice for residents.
The centre includes a hobby farm for intergenerational interaction that will provide interest and activities for all generations. It also has an on-site memory support unit.
