New beds for Corlette

Posted
by DPS

A 30-bed extension to a Regis site in Corlette, New South Wales (NSW) has been completed.

“The extension of this facility and the investment in new aged care beds highlights the Regis Group’s commitment to building outstanding person focused aged care facilities not only here in Corlette but across the country. It is also an investment in much needed new facilities to meet future demand in this growing region,” said NSW state manager, Steven Schultze.

The expansion of Regis The Gardens brings the number of aged care beds at the facility to 150 and offers low, high, dementia, respite and palliative care beds.

“The new extension, like all Regis built facilities, is designed to meet or exceed current Environmentally Sustainable Design requirements and features future technologies to cater for tomorrow’s generation of older Australians.

“The new wing will also create further employment opportunities for local healthcare professionals and have a positive flow on effect to the local community,” he added.

“We are very proud of this new extension and the additional services it brings to the area, services which will benefit not only new residents to The Gardens but our existing residents also,” Mr Schultze said.

Regis the Gardens will hold an open day on 4 November for those interested in finding out more about the services on offer.
