National Young Carers Summit 2006

The second National Young Carers Summit will be held on Thursday 31 August and Friday 1 September at the Gold Coast.
The event will bring together 200 delegates from across Australia, including 100 young carers, as well as government representatives and service providers, to build on the outcome of the inaugural summit held in 2004. The delegates will develop action plans on the four key areas of Respite, Whole of Government Approach, Education and Identification. They will also participate in practical workshops and other activities designed for a well-earned break.
