It’s been a difficult year for everyone this year, and like so many businesses, DPS, the company behind Talking Aged Care, had to adapt to the new developments from COVID-19. A lot of this year’s hard work has been from the homes of DPS staff!

While it was a challenging year, Talking Aged Care was able to report on the most important and relevant news for our readers, and showcase the strength and resolve of Australian communities, while providing the information that older Australians needed to safely get through the year.

Even though COVID-19 brought the world to a stop, many areas in aged care kept moving. Talking Aged Care reported on the latest with the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, as well as the newest updates and safeguards announced by the Federal Government.

2020 was definitely a unique year with many struggles but Australia weathered it better than most. We can now look ahead to a fresh start in 2021 as the country recovers from COVID-19.

Talking Aged Care and DPS look forward to continuing to inform and report on the many new surprises that will no doubt come in the new year.

The first newsletter of 2021 will be distributed to subscribers on Wednesday, 20 January. To ensure you receive the fortnightly aged care news in your inbox in 2021, subscribe here.

From all the staff at DPS and Talking Aged Care, we wish our readers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
