Men’s shed funding available

Posted
by DPS

The third round of Men’s Sheds program funding has been announced. Interested organisations are invited to submit an application for funding to construct a new building or modify an existing building for a Men’s Sheds program, as described in the Men’s Shed Program 2009-10 guidelines.

Men’s sheds have become a valuable part of many local communities, with 51 organisations throughout Victoria having already received funding under the Victorian government’s Men’s Sheds Program since 2008.

Further information on the funding round and application eligibility can be obtained from the Department of Planning and Community Development Regional Teams.

Regional Team contact details can be found on Page 9 of the Guidelines. Useful information and the online application form are available from grants@dpcd.vic.gov.au

The closing date for applications is 10 December 2009.
