Mature age job training available in Victoria
The National Seniors Experience Counts project, funded by the Victorian government, is seeking new participants. The project works with partner agencies to find and place suitable people aged 55 plus in companioning roles.
Expressions of interest are now open for the Victorian municipalities of Whitehorse, Boroondarra, Monash, Stonnington, Glen Eira, Yarra, Port Phillip and Bayside, as far south as Frankston.
A current driver’s licence and mobile phone are required and people need to be fit and eligible to get a police check. People with a second language, particularly Greek, Russian or Yiddish, are also needed.
