Marketing for the 50-plus a winner

Evergreen Advertising & Marketing recently received two international creative excellence awards in the Generations Award for their advertising campaigns for the 50-plus market. Evergreen was Platinum Winner for the McKenzie Aged Care Group ‘Aged Care, at its finest’ campaign and was Gold Winner for the Stockland Retirement Living ‘Time of Your Life’ in the advertising categories.

Evergreen Advertising & Marketing recently received two international creative excellence awards in the Generations Award for their advertising campaigns for the 50-plus market.

Evergreen was Platinum Winner for the McKenzie Aged Care Group ‘Aged Care, at its finest’ campaign and was Gold Winner for the Stockland Retirement Living ‘Time of Your Life’ in the advertising categories.

The Generations Award is an international competition for excellence in senior marketing, aimed at professionals who have communicated to the 50-plus mature market in one of 64 categories.

The awards honour phenomenal achievement and service to professionals communicating to elders worldwide and are judged by a panel of marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media and online professionals.

Winners gain recognition in one of the following categories: Platinum, Gold, and Special Recognition; and the panel evaluate each entry on its overall design, content, effectiveness in communicating to the mature market and overall excellence.

Gill Walker, managing director of Evergreen, said receiving international recognition from the “world’s best in senior marketing is a great boost as we complete a record year of client work across many categories including travel, retirement, health, financial services and government”.

Evergreen Advertising was reportedly the first agency in Australia to specialise in the over-50s market.

“We’re growing steadily and are now in our 8th year. That growth is attributed to marketers wanting specialists, not generalists. We are especially proud to be the first Australian agency to be recognised, so that was an added thrill,”
