Local Member opens Queensland facility
Yesterday, Arch Bevis, Member for Brisbane, joined Regis Group representatives and guests to officially open Regis Parkland Manor.
Set amongst native bush land, Regis Parkland Manor will house 120 residents, employing 120 local health care professionals.
Regis Group operations director, Lindsay Bender says, “Regis is proud to be at the forefront of aged care and in building and offering first class facilities to Australia’s aged community.
“Whilst other aged care providers are putting their expansion plans on hold due to funding issues, Regis is moving forward with a substantial construction and refurbishment program and responding to the challenge of an ageing population. Parkland Manor is the Regis Group’s tenth facility in Queensland.
“We are very proud of our track record in this area and will continue to assist older Australians’ to live their lives to the fullest with compassion and respect,” said Mr Bender.
Regis Parkland Manor offers a range of services including high and dementia specific care in a secure environment. It also offers premium additional services such as private cinema, Internet and pay TV, in-house chefs, hairdressing, massage and beauty therapy.
