Living life with Parkinson’s program in NSW
A free program which provides support and information to people living with Parkinson’s disease as well as their loved ones has been launched by Parkinson’s NSW.
Living Life with Parkinson’s is a program which involves health professionals offering education to the Parkinson’s community via face-to-face seminars and teleconferencing facilities. The program seeks to address issues such as decreased mobility, communication and intimacy as well as social isolation and loneliness.
A seminar will be held on 26 February in Bathurst and then in March, more seminars will be held in Mittagong, Auburn and Armidale.
People living in rural locations may also be able to access the support via a number of teleconference sessions.
To register for the program, phone Parkinson’s NSW on 1800 644 189.
