Life begins at 66 in Cologne’s discount afternoon brothel
Senior discounts have reached a new level in the German city of Cologne with half-price being offered at a brothel for afternoon sex for the 66 and overs.
A spokesman for the brothel said the move was an attempt to capitalise on the growing number of elderly and to take advantage of the brothel’s slower afternoon hours.
“All clients need to do is show us some proof of age,” the spokesman told the Reuters news agency. “A ‘normal session’ costs 50 euros with us — and we’re now discounting 50% of that for these older guests.” Fifty euros is roughly equivalent to $66.50.
The bordello – or pasha, as it is known in German – has a discount open to seniors aged 66 and older with visiting hours from noon to 5 pm each day.
The brothel’s website now includes aged-specific marketing by proclaiming “Life begins at 66!” and outlining its “senior citizens afternoon” next to a picture of an older motorbike rider.
