Know your rights as a consumer ACT forum 28 May
The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) government is holding a consumer rights information session open to the public this month.
The Office of Regulatory Services will provide expert consumer advice and information at an information session on Thursday 28 May from 1pm to 3pm at Woden Library, Corinna Street, Woden.
Some of the topics include: avoiding scams, swindles, rorts and rip-offs; purchasing a computer; connecting to the internet; getting household repairs; buying and selling real estate; shopping and how to get a refund or make a lay-by and information on the Do Not Call Register.
