Popular chef Huey will speak at The Henley on Broadwater this week.

The popular chef, who is the star of Huey’s Kitchen and Huey’s Cooking Adventures, will speak at a free, invitation only event on Thursday 10 September, at The Henley on Broadwater to celebrate food. He will show how easy and enjoyable it is to cook nutritional meals.

Guests will sample Huey’s dishes and enjoy morning or afternoon tea with him. The Henley’s managing director, Patrick Smith, says that given the nutritional benefits to seniors of making home-cooked meals, Huey was the ideal person to help the lifestyle resort celebrate the pleasure of easy-to-cook food at an event that is open to registered guests.

“Huey will be doing a live cooking demonstration, as well as sharing his favourite cooking tips, answering questions from the audience, and explaining how to embrace and enhance your life with great food,” Mr Smith says.

“At The Henley we are passionate about providing positive life choices that result in enriching and fulfilling lives. We are immensely proud of the resort and all the facilities and benefits it has to offer, and we are always happy to welcome visitors interested in touring our community and inspecting the range of apartments now on offer.”

The Henley on Broadwater is a private luxury lifestyle resort on the Gold Coast, tailored specially to seniors living.
