Hearing Awareness Week is highlighting the number of Australians affected by hearing loss.
Hearing Awareness Week is an annual, national event which raises community awareness about hearing loss and ways to protect hearing.
This year’s theme is “At Home, At Work, At Play – One in Six” which serves as a reminder that one in six Australians suffers from some form of hearing loss.
Throughout the week, events will be held in most cities and towns for people to find out how well their hearing is and get advice.
