Grandparents’ valuable services as family ‘chauffeurs’ costed out in UK
An English study has highlighted family chauffeuring as one of the many valuable services grandparents provide.
According to website This Is London, chauffering the grandchildren around saw grandparents saving their children about $6,700 in taxi fares annually.
Interestingly, barely half of grandparents surveyed said they enjoyed the extra driving and 20% said they resented their family for asking for help.
