GP bulk-billings high for the aged

Bulk-billing rates for GP attendances for people aged over 65 years rose in the March quarter of 2007.

Statistics for the quarter show GP bulk-billing has increased to 77.4%, an increase for the 13th consecutive quarter.

For people aged over 65 years, GP bulk billing rates increased to a record 87.3%
