Govt to change rules on Accreditation Agency powers
The Federal Minister for Ageing, Justine Elliot, said she would tighten loopholes in nursing home regulations after finding that a gap in the Aged Care and Accreditation
Agency’s powers meant it was not an offence to mislead the agency.
The legislative changes should be made in the Spring session of Parliament.
