The good:

  • Having time for yourself and being free from family responsibilities
  • Doing the things you have put off for many years
  • Remembering all of the good things you have done in your life, including raising a family
  • The wisdom gained through experience
  • Knowing what you want in life
  • Freedom from work commitments, time to travel, time to enjoy grandchildren
  • Retirement

The bad:

  • Arthritis, decreased flexibility and mobility
  • Not always having enough money
