Future housing for older Australians seminar
A one day symposium for policy-makers, researchers, planners, NGO representatives, local government, the commercial sector and older Australians to discuss and debate innovative solutions and practical steps to creating better housing outcomes for Australia’s ageing population will be held on 25 February at the SMC Conference & Function Centre, Sydney.
This timely symposium will focus on solutions to achieving affordable housing options for ageing Australians.
It will challenge current barriers to innovation through a combination of context-setting presentations, case studies highlighting innovative solutions and interactive workshops.
It will address the lack of choice and proper planning for the provision of suitable and affordable accommodation for Australia’s growing ageing population, and seek to identify positive and practical outcomes.
Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI) will co-host the symposium with The Benevolent Society,
