Baptistcare’s Inaugural Recognition Awards will be celebrated at a gala dinner this September and will coincide with the organisation’s 40th anniversary. The awards recognise staff who display Baptistcare’s values of dignity and compassion; integrity and respect; and courage and justice.
Baptistcare’s Inaugural Recognition Awards will be celebrated at a gala dinner this September and will coincide with the organisation’s 40th anniversary.
The awards recognise staff who display Baptistcare’s values of dignity and compassion; integrity and respect; courage and justice; and stewardship and accountability as they carry out their roles in our communities. There will also be a chief executive’s Award for leadership and innovation presented on the night.
Baptistcare chief executive, Dr Lucy Morris, said the organisation’s ability to “live out” its vision of transforming and enriching lives is because of its “wonderful staff and the values they display as they carry out their roles in our organisation and in our communities”.
“We are proud of our past and excited about our brilliant future, and invite you, as a member of our community, to join us in celebration of this milestone, by submitting an Award nomination for a staff member who you feel deserves recognition,” she said.
Baptistcare’s, Rob Douglas, commented that Baptistcare holds itself accountable for ensuring it serves the community in a manner which aligns with its organisational values.
“As we look for Baptistcare’s values in our relationships, our activities, words and our motives, we will grow our awareness of how important these values are in every part of our work,” he said.
The prestigious awards will be held annually, recognising staff who put the organisation’s values into action, serving as a yearly reminder to every member of the Baptistcare team who practises its values in their daily work.
