Former premier new chair of Southern Cross Care (Tas)
Former Tasmanian Premier, Ray Groom has been appointed Chairman of
Southern Cross Care Tasmania.
Mr Groom’s appointment follows the retirement of Mr Peter Patmore, AM
who served as Chairman for the past eight years.
Southern Cross Care is a major statewide aged care provider. It
operates 11 residential and aged care facilities in Tasmania and employs
more than 800 people. Currently it has four development projects
underway with a combined capital value in excess of $40 million.
