Film on care, culture and language for older migrants
The Victorian Northern Migrant Resource Centre (NMRC) has produced Like My Own Family (Care, Culture and Language for Older Migrants), an 18 minute documentary film which goes into the homes of five frail older migrant families from Turkish, Vietnamese, Somali, Greek and Assyrian backgrounds.
It steps inside the world of ageing migrants and their families, to hear their voices and experience ‘best practice’ first hand.
