Edith Cowan University, together with National Seniors Productive Ageing Centre, is conducting research into Western Australia’s workforce and how the state can benefit from greater mature age employment.
PhD student, Jonathan Georgiou, is now seeking a range of participants from Western Australia, including mature age employees and volunteers over the age of 45 years.
Executive level workers in a supervisory role or those responsible for recruitment decisions, people who have fully or semi-retired, and those who retired but have since returned to the workforce are also invited to participate in the study.
To take part, respondents will need to complete a short 15 to 30 minute survey.
Survey one is for active labour force participants who have never retired and are currently employed in a paid job or unpaid/volunteer work.
Survey two is for retirees, semi-retired, the unemployed or people who have returned to a paid job or unpaid/volunteer work after already having fully retired.
