The DPS Guide’s mobile phone enabled website was launched yesterday to cater to existing users viewing the website on their mobile phones.

The mobile phone adaption of AgedCareGuide.com.au doesn’t strip away the functionality available on the desktop website.

Users of the new mobile phone enabled website will always see and have access to the most up to date version of the website and won’t need any additional software to run the website – it’s available all the time through the mobile phone’s built-in default browser.

DPS allows its website to adapt to mobile phone users – rather than create a separate app (or separate mobile website) – because website updates are often faster to rollout to a single site rather than two or more.

During the past month, over 131,000 page views of the DPS Guide website have been made during more than 34,000 visits from mobile devices, which equates to about 17% of total visits – with 13% being from iPhones.

Check out DPS Guide’s mobile phone enabled website by using your mobile phone and typing www.agedcareguide.com.au into the web browser.
