Conference to provide answers

As the demand for retirement villages increases and Australia’s rapidly ageing population rises, major operators will need to implement innovative strategies to address the issues faced by the sector. The upcoming 6th Annual Retirement Communities World Conference will provide answers to ensure market expectations are met.

As the demand for retirement villages increases and Australia’s rapidly ageing population rises, major operators will need to implement innovative strategies to address the issues faced by the sector.

The 6th Annual Retirement Communities World Conference, to be held in Sydney from 26 to 28 March, aims to provide answers to ensure market expectations around care provision, retirement housing, and investment and development are met.

Conference delegates will learn how to:

  • Implement international strategies down under
  • Translate retiree demographics into profitable business models
  • Overcome operating, growth and development challenges; and
  • Drive investment and development.

Co-located with the Retirement Communities World Conference, an Aged Care Summit Conference will also be held in Sydney from 26 to 28 March to address aged care providers who, according to the conference’s manager, Maria Cabral, should adapt to the “changing needs and expectations of the aged care market”.

At the Aged Care Summit, leading decision makers from major operators like Domain Principal Group, Sundale and SummitCare will join to discuss the challenges facing the aged care sector today.

Delegates will learn to:

  • Maximise funding and manage growing demand
  • Adapt to the use of new information technology
  • Assess the impact of policy reforms; and
  • Overcome general operating, growth and development challenges

Delegates will also obtain first-hand information from UK aged care provider, Able Community Care. International keynote speaker and chief executive of Able Community Care, Angela Gifford, will share potential winning strategies for the Australian aged care sector.
