Community consultations for seniors on the global financial crisis start 30 April

National Seniors Australia (NSA) is holding a series of community consultations around Australia on the topic of the global financial crisis.

Beginning at the end of April and running until October, NSA invites people over 50 (members and nonmembers) to attend a free discussion of the challenges and issues facing them in this global financial crisis. 

NSA will use the information to guide its dealings with the Federal Government. 

The sessions will be facilitated and there will be refreshments available. Bookings are essential. 

The first of the consultations are:

Queensland:

  • Central QLD at Gympie RSL Club on 30 April;
  • Brisbane South at Carina Leagues Club on 13 May;
  • Brisbane North at Hornets Football Club, Carseldine on 15 May;
  • South East QLD/North East NSW at South Tweed Sports Club on 18 May;
  • Rural QLD at Stanthorpe RSL on 20 May; and
  • North QLD at Mercure Hotel, Cairns on 23 May.
