Centrelink and the free direct billing service
For all senior Australians who are Centrelink customers it’s possible to use a free direct bill-paying service to settle accounts.
The service is called Centrepay and it can be used to pay bills by having a regular amount deducted from any Centrelink payment.
Thousands of businesses are attached to the system and can be checked directly or customers can call the Centrelink Retirement Line on 13 23 00.
