A celebration of Australia’s much loved Hazel Hawke, was held this week at the Sydney Opera House.
The State Memorial Concert for Ms Hawke, titled ‘Celebrating Hazel’, was a musical tribute to Ms Hawke, with some of Australia’s finest musicians, including the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
The Service commemorated Ms Hawke’s tireless work as a campaigner in social policy areas, her love and patronage of the arts, and her bravery as a dementia advocate.
