CDC packages announced
Older Australians and their carers will have a greater say in the care they receive with the allocation of Consumer Directed Care (CDC) community aged care and respite care packages by the Gillard Government.
Minister for Ageing, Justine Elliot, said “The Government is introducing consumer directed community and respite care packages that will allow care recipients and their carers to have a greater say in how their care is delivered.
“The packages introduce greater choice into Australia’s aged care system.
