Canberra seniors go with gold

A total of 31,601 older Canberrans travelled for free on ACTION buses in December using their ACTION Gold Cards.

Minister for Transport Jon Stanhope said the program continued to increase in popularity as an alternative to driving for older people.

All ACT residents aged 75 and over are eligible.

Application forms are available at www.canberraconnect.act.gov.au or call 13 17 10.
