Brisbane public lecture on reducing the risk of Dementia: 23 September
Tuesday 23 September – Public Lecture, State Library of Queensland, Southbank, Brisbane 9am – 12pm.
Keynote speaker – international guest Professor Alistair Burns’ will present ‘The unanswered questions, a view of the future’.
Professor Burns’ research into Alzheimers and Vascular Dementia along with his presentation will highlight the link to a growing body of evidence that it may be possible to reduce the risk of developing dementia, or delay its onset.
There will also be information about the seven steps you can take to reduce your risk of developing dementia as well as interactive displays and great prizes and giveaways on the day.
