Breast cancer the biggest concern for Australian women
Australian women fear getting breast cancer more than any other illness according to research by market research company, the Heat Group.
More than one third of women said breast cancer is top of their worry list and ageing came in at number two.
Heat commented that heart disease came in at number seven on the list, despite Australia being in the midst of an obesity epidemic causing all sorts of heart related illnesses.
In 2003, 12,500 women died from heart disease which is five times more than female deaths from breast cancer.
