BlueCross' presence grows with the acquisition of Chelsea Manor

BlueCross is very pleased to announce the acquisition of Chelsea Manor aged care residence in Chelsea. This is in line with our vision of growth, through development and acquisition over the next five years.

Chelsea Manor was formerly managed by single residence operator, Retirement Aged Care Management Pty Ltd.

Set amidst landscaped gardens, Chelsea Manor will provide a further 70 low care places, including a secure dementia specific care wing and respite places, to help meet the growing demand for BlueCross care in the Bayside area. This grand, modern residence offers exceptional communal amenities, plus superior rooms that feature private ensuites and kitchenettes.

BlueCross continues to invest in developing and acquiring residences that provide high quality person-centred care. Chelsea Manor complements our portfolio and investment strategy, and will be a highly valued addition to the organisation.

BlueCross assumed ownership on 17 February 2014.

Our focus is to concentrate on the wellbeing of the residents through a smooth transition and providing continuity of care. Residents are assured of their security of tenure within the residence into the future with BlueCross. We look forward to sharing the BlueCross culture with all staff and residents through incorporating our STARFish Principles and enriching lives.

BlueCross is delighted to welcome the staff and residents of Chelsea Manor into the BlueCross family.
