Albury-Wodonga’s cross-border health authority still not finalised
After a decade of talks, the New South Wales and Victorian governments are yet to agree on coordinating Albury-Wodonga’s health services via a cross-border authority.
Following a meeting with Goulburn Murray politicians, the Federal Health Minister Tony Abbott said he would rather not step in to fast-track the deal but that the issue needs to be resolved within six months.
