Aged care in AIRC to discuss award modernisation

Posted
by DPS

Aged care industry groups have appeared at the Australian Industrial Relations Commission (AIRC), to represent the industry at a conference, to discuss award modernisation of health and welfare services across Australia.

Commissioner Cribb convened the conference with peak industry groups, unions and employer industrial relations representatives from health, aged care and community services in Melbourne.

Commissioner Cribb heard different views of the parties on scoping the industry sectors for the creation of one national award for each industry sector.

The Aged Care Industry Council is leading this award modernisation scoping project.
